Rebonding: permanent, and that is the problem
Rebonding chemically breaks the disulphide bonds in your hair and reforms them straight. It works, and it is permanent on the hair it touches — which is exactly the risk. New growth comes in with your natural texture, leaving a visible line where straight treated hair meets natural roots, usually within 3 to 4 months.
