Nanoplastia Aftercare — Making It Last Twice as Long
The difference between a treatment lasting three months and six is almost entirely aftercare. The two things that matter most: do not wash for 72 hours, and never use sulfate shampoo again. People who follow those two rules get roughly double the life out of the same treatment.

The 72-hour rule — and why people break it
For three days after treatment the product is still setting inside the cuticle. Anything that bends the hair during this window can leave a permanent kink in the treated section.
That means: no washing, no hair ties, no clips, no bun, no tucking behind your ears, no sunglasses pushed up on your head. Sleep with hair loose and straight.
This is the rule people break most often, usually with a hair tie on day two — and it is not fixable afterwards. The affected section stays bent until it grows out.
Sulfate is what kills your treatment
Sulfates are detergents. They are in most supermarket shampoos because they produce lather and strip oil effectively — which is exactly the problem. They strip the treatment out of the cuticle along with everything else.
Using ordinary shampoo after a treatment can halve its lifespan. This is the single most common reason people say "it only lasted two months."
W One Sulfate-Free Shampoo & 3-in-1 Conditioner (PKR 3,430) is the set designed for exactly this. If you only want the shampoo, it is PKR 1,790 separately.

Your ongoing routine
- Wash 2–3 times a week, not daily. Every wash removes a little of the treatment.
- Lukewarm water only. Hot water lifts the cuticle and accelerates fading.
- Condition every wash, mid-length to ends.
- Reduce heat styling. The point of the treatment is that you no longer need to straighten daily — take advantage of it.
- Protect from chlorine and sea water. Both strip treatments quickly. Wet hair with clean water and apply conditioner before swimming.
- Avoid new chemical treatments — colour, bleach, other smoothing — for at least 2 weeks, ideally longer.
Extending it before you retreat
Around month four you will notice frizz gradually returning at the roots and the ends feeling drier. You do not have to jump straight to another full treatment.
A Bluetox Taninoplastia at this stage rehydrates and refreshes without straightening, and often buys another month or two of good hair before you redo the nanoplastia. It is also gentler than stacking smoothing treatments back to back.
When you do retreat, leave at least 3 months from the first treatment.

Frequently asked questions
How long after nanoplastia can I wash my hair?
72 hours. During that window avoid washing, tying, clipping, or tucking hair behind your ears — any bend can set permanently in the treated hair.
What shampoo should I use after nanoplastia?
A sulfate-free, paraben-free shampoo. Regular shampoo contains detergents that strip the treatment and can halve how long it lasts.
How often should I wash my hair after treatment?
Two to three times a week. Every wash removes a small amount of the treatment, so daily washing shortens its life considerably.
Can I colour my hair after nanoplastia?
Wait at least two weeks, ideally longer. Colouring immediately after a smoothing treatment stresses hair that is still settling and can affect both results.
How do I make my nanoplastia last longer?
Follow the 72-hour rule, use only sulfate-free shampoo, wash 2 to 3 times a week with lukewarm water, condition every wash, and avoid chlorine and sea water.
Can I swim after nanoplastia?
Yes, after the first 72 hours, but chlorine and sea water strip treatments quickly. Wet your hair with clean water and apply conditioner before swimming as a barrier.
